FAQ: Raynor mixed modality

Looking to convert this into drop down sections, but here we go for the meantime

What the heck are you poking me with?

I have variety of tools varying in pokiness. My go to currently is a fluorite crystal. Many have felt the prehistoric bite of my megalodon shark tooth. I also have blunter piece of Guatamalan jade from Mayan Mountain. Another arrowhead-esque piece can be used to break up fascia in webbing of toes and hands. A piece of raw titanium is also useful for webbing and smaller, slippery acupressure points. Lastly I have an orthceras fossil

Does it hurt?

If you wanna feel good go with deep tissue, but if you want to feel better the Raynor mixed modality practice is an investment in discomfort to improve your overall.

Will I be sore?

For a couple days the acupressure/deep tissue points can be sore.

How long will the acupressure/reflexology points feel funny?

It can take up to a week for these to feel normal.

Do you have a foot fetish?

Only for people to have healthy feet.

What do the tuning forks do?

Sound travels faster in water and can facilitate releases and healing. I have a set tuned to the chakras, also a sonic slider from Eileen McCusick who literally wrote the book on healing with sound. Another go to is the ohm sound 124 hZ, I also have a C fork at 129 hZ.

Can I have a happy ending?

There is a light at the end of the tunnel when we finish squishing out your tension via thumbs, knuckles, and elbows. Sessions end with a vagus nerve release, neck/craniosacral massage, and  soothing tuning forks. Relative to the bulk of the session this is relatively a happy ending.

How should I take care after the session?

Drink lots of water and be mindful of any emotions that can arise from the work. As noted in the book “The Body Keeps the Score,” which focuses more on the mental, our physical bodies also retain trauma.

What is your privacy policy?

I use encrypted note taking apps for any information stored and also have WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal (the best) for more secure communications. My e-mail is also encrypted, based overseas, and even is powered by a hydroelectric source.
